Caffeine-free tea for keeping the whole family well hydrated!

With One-Pot Teabags, all you need to enjoy delicious barley tea is hot or cold water and a container. This handy new package contains teabags that make preparing barley tea a snap. Just brew 1 teabag per liter of water in your favorite container.

- Increased number of teabags
Customers tend to drink barley tea on a daily basis, so we have boosted the volume, increasing the number of teabags from 15 to 18.

- New re-sealable package!
Our new re-sealable package makes opening and closing easy, and is ideal for storing tea.

For this premium barley tea, Ippodo selects six-row barley, which is densely packed with grains, and roasts it nice and slow. This barley tea boasts a fine aroma, refreshes as it glides down the throat, and has a pleasant aftertaste of refined sweetness. It's ideal for everyday rehydration.

In order to bring out the fine properties of barley tea, we fill the teabags with coarsely cracked barley grains. Great for everyday tea at home, and also makes a nice gift.

How to make hot barley tea
1. Boil 1 liter of hot water.
(Avoid placing the teabag in the water while it is boiling as this causes the tea to become bitter.)
2. Put 1 teabag into a pot or other large container and add the 1 liter of boiled water.
3. Wait about 10 minutes before drinking.
* The key to achieving a light, refreshing taste is to avoid placing the teabag in the water while it is boiling.
* The tea will become too strong if left to steep in hot water for too long.

How to make cold barley tea
1. Put 1 teabag into a pitcher or other large container and add 1 liter of cold water.
2. Wait about 1 hour before drinking.

  • 1. Put in the teabag
  • 2. Pour on hot water (or cold water)
  • It's ready when it gets to the strength you like
