Hojicha-popular and easy to prepare

In response to popular demand, we have added hojicha to our popular One-Pot Teabag product line. Each one of these large-capacity teabags makes about 3 or 4 servings of delicious hojicha.

The teabags contain roasted hojicha stems, cooked nice and slow to ensure that even the hardest parts are well roasted, resulting in a tea with a rich flavor, bold aroma, and a sweetness unique to stems.

This new product, made from hojicha stems, not tea leaves, incorporates the wisdom of tea merchants. Stems produce a robust flavor, even from within a teabag, a confined area that can sometimes make it difficult for tea leaves to unravel.

- When making with a kyusu
Use 1 teabag per 300 ml of water. Pour on boiling water and brew for 2 minutes.

- When making large batches
Use 2 teabags per liter of water. Brew in boiling water for 5 minutes. Kuki Hojicha also tastes delicious when prepared in a travel flask.

The teabags come in a re-sealable package that is ideal for storing. Great for everyday tea at home, and also makes a nice gift.

Instructions for preparing the tea are printed on the package in English and Japanese.
  • 1. Put in the teabag
  • 2. Pour on hot water (or cold water)
  • It's ready when it gets to the strength you like
